At least I can still ride

I had originally intended this blog to be about the myriad of issues that drive me insane (hence the title), from politics to Chuck Bass. Since I can't seem to actually post about any of that, I'm going to re-purpose and chronicle my Crossfit based quest for a second finish at IMCdA -the first one didn't go exactly as planned.
Excellent job! Indoor TTs are a bear. I count three bikes in this shot. Are there any more?
ReplyDeleteNice work.
ReplyDeleteThanks. We've got a total of 5 (the other 2 are next to the MTB). A Tri bike and a road bike each for me and the wife, and my 1,000,000,000 pound 1997 MTB that you see in the corner. Who ever thought that the decision on where to live would be dictated by how much bike storage space is available?
ReplyDeleteI have a collection. I have only been able to part with one bike over the years, the rest are all still with me whether they are ridable or not. Road bike, Tri bike and four mountain bikes (one is rideable, one is almost rideable and two are currently disabled). One of my disabled bikes is my MTB of choice so I hope to get a chance to work on it soon. My goal if for at least one day to have them all rideable. I like them all for different reasons.
ReplyDeleteWife has a road bike that I bought new last year and I think she rode it twice. That's frustrating because I could have bought decent race wheels with what I spent on her bike.
Impressive Mike. I have realized I have along way to go after reading yours and some other blogs. Thanks for the motivation.
